Ray’s professional career has focused exclusively on health and wellbeing since 1982. He enjoys solving the myriad challenges that healthcare projects present, such as creating productive environments for their complex business and clinical operations and designing calming spaces for the best patient experiences. As a senior medical planner and strategic thinker with a broad range of experience as both an owner and architect, Ray provides leadership throughout all facets of project development. His expertise in visioning and strategic facility and operational planning provides a strong foundation for project design and delivery. He began his career managing capital projects for a 300-bed medical center as director of planning and construction services; he transitioned to the design side in 1994, and he’s led healthcare design practices since 2000. Ray approaches each project by helping clients balance near-term strategic business initiatives with long-range facility transformation goals to create a sustainable, forward-looking solution.
