Major Dining Award for Inspirata Pointe at Royal Oaks

Senior living residents enjoy broad culinary choices, all beautifully designed.

Inspirata Pointe at Royal Oaks in Sun City, AZ, has won Platinum (first place) in Environments for Aging’s 2nd Annual Dining Competition. This honor is given based off four criteria: variety of venues and choices, how the spaces promote resident engagement, high-design aesthetic, and effective design to support dining operations. This community, whose architecture and interiors were designed by Perkins Eastman, boasts three unique dining venues.

Azul is a sophisticated space with a sculptural light feature that creates a canopy over the seating area (below). For a curated experience, residents can sit at the chef’s table (above) for a glimpse into the kitchen.

For more casual dining, Indigo Kitchen is a bright and airy space serving Mediterranean fare with an open kitchen and a range of seating options:

The Perkins Eastman designs won the top award out of a field of 31 entries, judged by a panel of 11 industry experts. Kudos to the team!
