Perkins Eastman is proud to be Ecuador’s largest architecture firm, where its Guayaquil studio has played an important supportive role to our US offices since 2008. Our Guayaquil architects, which include professionals who are licensed in the United States, work on close collaborative teams with their US counterparts, bringing high degrees of complex, technical knowledge to each project that local firms can’t offer.
Our Guayaquil staff works across the firm’s practice areas on projects throughout North and South America and around the world. Clients benefit from the studio’s combined local and global resources and expertise to develop projects from beginning to end that reinforce our Human by Design philosophy. In the process, we are deeply committed to sustainability in everything we do; for that reason, our goal is to have at least 70 percent of our studio members accredited as LEED professionals.
The studio, which acts as a launching point for our work throughout Latin America, offers two brands of services, depending on the client’s needs:
Perkins Eastman Architects: The full scope of service at the same level as we offer our clients in North America. Our teams take clients from schematic design through design development, construction documentation, and then to construction administration. We contract and oversee all the engineers in the process, including structural, MEP, and cost consultants.
PE Strategies: This division of Perkins Eastman offers more streamlined consultation and planning services. Clients directly retain advisors and manage the construction team as they have traditionally done in the past.
