Located on the grounds of historic Fort McPherson, a former US Army base, Tyler Perry Studios is one of the largest film production facilities in the nation. The creative offices will be housed in a renovated and expanded former warehouse structure, originally built in the early 20th century and since altered numerous times by the Army. The Tyler Perry project will restore the structure to its original character and continue upwards and out, creating a monumental, marquee element that will serve as a gateway to the entire studio complex. A dramatic central atrium will anchor the interiors, visually connecting all its floors. The atrium space will include office, collaboration, and production spaces to support the studio’s film operations.
