Turkish House

New York, NY

A stunning addition to New York’s skyline supports the Republic of Turkey’s U.S. operations.

Located along Manhattan’s famed “Consulate Row,” stands the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey in New York and Permanent Mission of Turkey to the United Nations, also known as the Turkish House. Perkins Eastman’s design for the 35-story shining glass tower features prominent loggias at the upper floors which offer expansive views of the East River, Long Island City, and Downtown Manhattan. The building’s curving façade—inspired in part by the Turkish crescent—ascends seamlessly into the New York skyline while standing out from the surrounding skyscrapers. The building design includes a passport and visa branch office, public areas, conference rooms, a multi-purpose prayer room, and auditorium. Dizayn Grup is the development’s Turkish Design Consultant.
