Spring Lake Village

Spring Lake Village

Santa Rosa, CA

A reimagined and expanded campus infused with all aspects of wellness supports aging residents in the tranquil Sonoma County.

Enhancing Covia’s community offerings for older adults, Perkins Eastman created a campus plan to better serve current residents and attract newcomers. Through extensive analysis and carefully planned project phases that allowed existing operations to continue during demolition and construction, the design team prioritized business needs and residents well-being. The contemporary life plan community includes a range of new dining venues, spacious contemporary apartments and active recreation spaces with pool, modern fitness club, theatre and learning center. After completion, the team conducted post occupancy evaluations, finding a 35% increase in perceived wellness among residents.
