A premier life plan community, Moorings Park is a Florida destination unto itself. Perkins Eastman’s strategic planning, master planning, and architectural designs for the campus are part of a decade-long collaboration to enhance the life of residents. An overall campus repositioning effort catalyzed future planning for the well-loved community. Design plans, developed in collaboration with residents, interior designers at Wegman Design Group, and local architects, include a new lake surrounded by sustainable residences and amenities. The Center for Healthy Living, a comprehensive wellness facility with medical concierge services, an aquatic center, spa and fitness facilities, and various other physical, social, and mental wellness zones is at the heart of the community. Grey Oaks, a satellite life plan community comprised of four buildings, and Building R provide a variety of modern living options. Rounding out the campus design, a renovated Clubhouse and Grille Room offer expanded dining options and flexible gathering spaces for all seasons. With a new town center and customizable apartments for a variety of lifestyles, the campus plan was among the first new developments at a retirement campus that truly captured the spirit of the active adult consumer in the United States.
