A series of renovations at Lumen Field have improved the fan experience with upgraded hospitality, better circulation, and an environment that allows the stadium and its amenity spaces to operate year-round.
In addition to being the home to major-league football and soccer with the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks, the MLS Sounders, and the NWSL Reign, Lumen Field is a 365-days-a-year operational stadium with multiple events beyond sports, including concerts, monster truck competitions, and conventions. More than two decades after its 2002 opening, the stadium commissioned several modernization projects, including new club areas, concourse enhancements, and new video-board studies.
The first of these projects (above) transformed an underutilized circulation space under the Hawk’s Nest North grandstand into Cityside Bars, two active and animated bars with views to the field, plus hospitality spaces with a central fireplace for fans to enjoy a beverage and watch the game.
