Seeking a new environment reflective of the organization’s cultural shift toward more open and streamlined workplaces, BBC Worldwide Americas chose to relocate and consolidate its New York City headquarters. Perkins Eastman’s design eliminates private offices in favor of incorporating team tables, ample meeting spaces ranging from casual seating areas to formal conference rooms, and conveniently located central support areas. Throughout the office, creativity and energy are infused by customized graphic artwork, a mix of inspired lighting and furniture, and bold colors that visually identify different zones. The BBC brand is highlighted in the main reception area with a state-of-the-art curved video wall that features BBC productions including movies, television shows, and documentaries.
