Ty is a familiar face in the New York office. Since joining Perkins Eastman at its founding in 1981, he has played a significant part in many of the firm’s earliest projects. Having assumed many roles over the years, he currently serves as a technical support resource as a member of the Technical Studio, where he provides support to studios across the firm.

In addition to his office commitments, Ty has a deep commitment to education, teaching in several architectural schools in the New York metropolitan area. He also serves frequently as a guest juror in design competitions. He brings this experience to the office in problem solving and mentoring younger staff.
