Takehiro Nakamura

LEEP AP BD+C

Associate Principal

“I believe in knowledge-sharing and the power of human connection. By developing networks outside of our comfort zone, we can expand our knowledge and understanding of each other and all the ways we approach the same problem.”

Takehiro searches for every opportunity to build new connections, because it gives him a highly rewarding role in creating something tangible that people can experience, touch, and where they can spend significant amounts of time. He’s been practicing since 2004, with experience in managing workplace projects, major building renovations, ground-up office building, and hospitality projects across the US and globally, including locations in the Middle East, North Africa, and Sub-Saharan Africa. He’s particularly skilled at assembling teams to pursue projects and follow them through to construction and completion. He’s also experienced in high-security facilities design for international organizations and, more generally, in the firm’s global project management, coordination, and execution.

Our Perkins Eastman

Through his interest in developing new connections across unexplored borders, Takehiro has been able to develop new markets for Perkins Eastman in several Sub-Saharan African countries and across the Caribbean.
