Steve’s desire to create vibrant sustainable-living communities threads through every housing project he helps design. Crafting a solution that incorporates social and technical elements of architecture into tangible structures that can be touched and appreciated at a pedestrian level is his passion. Whether it’s through the expression of materials or via systems such as rainwater drainage, he delves deep into the technical details to create beautiful and buildable solutions.
Steve spent his childhood moving between all four corners of the country, where he found excitement in every new residence. As an architect, he’s recreated that excitement in the buildings he’s designed. One of his favorite moments is walking through a site under construction, discussing new strategies with tradespeople, and seeing how their observations can influence the next design.
