Steve practices design with the goal of discovering new ways to enhance how people experience the built environment. Whether it’s based on how people live, work, travel, shop, and/or play in the urban realm, his passion for positive change in our cities drives him to find innovative solutions to intricate projects. His focus is on urban infrastructure and making connections, from multi-modal transit facilities and transit-oriented developments to corridor planning and pedestrian, transit, and vehicular bridges. His 30-plus years of experience is punctuated with major urban infrastructure and regional transit projects across North America, including complex underground, at-grade, and aerial facilities. He approaches his work by employing a collaborative framework that knits together creative and strategic design thinking into complex projects.
