Snigdha resided in various cities around India during her childhood, gaining exposure to country’s diverse cultures. Travel and art have been an innate part of her life, ever since she was young. Exploring new places and discovering them through the built environment is still one of her favorite things to do. She believes architecture—and the experience of it—helps us comprehend the world and discover our place within it.
Snigdha has contributed to myriad projects at Perkins Eastman’s New York and Mumbai offices, encompassing educational, cultural, and healthcare practice areas. Practicing since 2012, her work spans various scales, including master planning, new construction, adaptive reuse, and renovations. As a designer, Snigdha is dedicated to designing highly contextual, materially rich environments. She enjoys exploring representational techniques such as graphics, renderings, sketches, and diagrams to better represent architectural forms and spaces.
