Seri Jean Carroll

AIA, RA, EDAC, LEED BD+C

Senior Associate

“My favorite part of architecture beyond design is the intricate process of how a building comes to be built. The walls, the structure, and the MEP systems are so dependent upon each other as they work together to create the finished product.”

Seri is a third-generation architect; her grandfather was an architect, and her mother is still practicing. She grew up in San Luis Obispo, CA, in and around projects being built, and the puzzle of how things go together has always been at the forefront of her design thinking. She started her career in 2014 with Perkins Eastman’s Senior Living practice, which sparked her interest in architecture that has an impact on human well-being. She transitioned to Healthcare in 2018, where the ever-changing modalities of design keep her interested and engaged.

Our Perkins Eastman

Seri serves on several Perkins Eastman committees but is most active with the Sustainability Committee. She’s part of its knowledge management subgroup, which helps disseminate sustainability themes firmwide, both on the company’s inter-web and through quarterly roundtable presentations.
