JJ Falk left her native Korea to pursue a design career in the United States because she wanted to stretch her global perspective and experiences. That journey has helped her set a high bar for her personal achievements and adopt a human-centered philosophy that’s served her well for more than thirty years. Prior to joining Perkins Eastman, JJ spent fifteen years practicing architectural interior design with some of the best international design firms before operating her own business for the next twenty years. There, she practiced commercial design in many industry sectors, but specialized in workplace design for Fortune 500 companies, both nationally and internationally. She’s gone on to help Perkins Eastman expand its workplace practice area while seeking higher visibility for the firm through her membership in local, national and international industry networks. She also enjoys scouting future talent as a regular lecturer and competition judge at local design schools.
Our Perkins Eastman
JJ believes that continued, concentrated public relations outreach is crucial to its expansion, and she’s constantly looking for opportunities to help Perkins Eastman grow and prosper. She also relishes sharing her experiences as a mentor to younger professionals within the firm. She was appointed the Legacy Leaders Chair for 2023 on the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) New York Board of Directors.
