Driven by a desire to foster healthy and connected communities, Jim is a nationally recognized expert on high-density housing and urban placemaking. His experience in developing urban mixed-use and large-scale planning projects is instrumental to achieving their goals of sustainable living and market success. Jim’s forty-three-plus years of multifamily work allow him to lead projects nimbly, switching from designer to conceptual director at the drop of a hat. He has designed over ten-thousand housing units in the Pacific Northwest throughout his career, with the majority of his work earning awards and recognition in national design publications.
