Jenny Budka

AIA, WELL AP

Senior Associate

"Designing for senior living is a journey of learning, where listening to residents and understanding their needs ensures we create spaces that truly enhance their everyday experiences."

Jenny was originally drawn to architecture because it blends creativity with practical constraints. While she was growing up, she found a passion and artistic outlet in ballet classes. Later on, she noticed strong parallels between ballet’s precision and architecture’s structured creativity, making it a natural fit for her career.  Jenny joined Perkins Eastman’s Senior Living practice in 2010. She started by observing how buildings came together and discovered a love for exploring spaces, engaging with residents, and witnessing how thoughtful design can elevate everyday life. Jenny feels a deep sense of purpose in listening to people’s stories and understanding how these narratives can shape and enhance their daily experiences.
