As a first-generation Armenian American, Hera and was raised in a household that emphasized family, education, and compassion. She watched her parents succeed in their careers, which allowed them to help others and give back to their community. Hera shares her father’s passion for design and construction, which led her to study architecture. She joined Pfeiffer Partners (prior to its merging with Perkins Eastman) after graduating in 2007, where she learned how compassion and empathy could be integrated into design and project management. The majority of her projects have focused on renovations in the College + University practice, which keeps her inspired and connected to the experiences of students, faculty, and staff who occupy the buildings she’s helped to revitalize.
