Whether it’s in healthcare, higher-ed, workplace or residential design, Duncan works with our clients to shape spaces that will enrich the lives of those who will live, learn, heal, and grow within them. With more than 30 years of experience, he effectively translates the client’s goals to his design team, helping them find solutions to challenges with building plan, site or program accommodation.
Duncan joined Perkins Eastman in 2002 and helped Co-Founder Brad Perkins focus on international work and grow the business in China. He led the design efforts with the AIA-award winning Chongqing Library, followed by office and retail buildings in Beijing. Now, his primary focus overseas is with healthcare design where he is passionate about the master planning of medical campuses, as with the AIIMS teaching hospitals or with a wellness city in Ecuador. “We’re able to create an environment that provides for the teaching, the practice, and the research behind the new ideas that will drive medicine into the future,” he says.
