Brian approaches design and architecture as practical poetry that captures the complexity of problems within simple solutions. He achieves these ends through an inclusive, collaborative design process, guided by clearly articulated principles, and grounded in a deep understanding of the site, context, and client needs. Through his commitment to design excellence, he shapes work that is expressive, nuanced, and authentic.
With a particular passion for housing, Brian’s experience ranges from development planning to artist collaboration. His portfolio includes train stations, wayfinding systems, bridges, and urban design. Whatever the challenge, Brian’s clear-headed, creative approach helps him successfully navigate projects through all stages of design while keeping the human experience at the fore.
