With a keen interest in the effects of the built environment on human, social, and environmental health, Bethany works to make cities livable places. She brings more than twenty years of professional experience to her projects and values thoughtful, well-executed design solutions that are successful for both clients and end-users. Bethany has worked on a variety of project types and scales, including small community design projects, office, multi-family housing, and transit stations throughout all project phases.
By shepherding projects from start to completion, she is able to follow design intent through the construction phase, and apply code and construction knowledge to the early design phases.

Bethany currently leads the Seattle office’s community design studio, which provides architectural services to non-profit and community groups to facilitate projects that serve the greater public. On all projects, she looks for ways to engage end users to build community in her work.
