As an architect from a family of educators, Mark engages others with his thoughtfulness, creativity and straightforward manner. Mark’s early career experience as a middle school teacher in New York City continues to inform his collaborative and inclusive approach to the design of spaces for learning. A practicing architect since 1995, leading design teams on education projects in the US and abroad, Mark brings insight and creativity [JS1] that helps move toward a successful outcome. His ability to lead the deisgn on project teams, whether on a master-planning assignment, new school design, or complex renovation project, brings a level of expertise that clients have come to value and trust.
