AIA, LEED AP

Principal

“Life is, in a sense, a series of transitions from one building to the next, regardless of where you’re from or where you live. It’s one thing that is common to the human condition. We have the unique ability to impact people’s lives by shaping the built environment, and we have the responsibility to make sure that we’re doing so in a positive way.”

Paul knew he wanted to be an architect as early as third grade. Drawing creatively and sketching floorplans was one of his favorite ways to stay entertained. In high school, he was selected for a program where he was able to intern at a local architecture firm, which solidified Paul’s resolve.

Paul began his professional career in the mid-1990s, and has developed a diverse background in Large Scale Mixed-Use, Hospitality, Workplace, Healthcare, and Retail. He understands how important it is to design environments that positively impact and enhance the user’s experience, whether that person is a customer, healthcare patient, co-worker, or a visiting guest. The Perkins Eastman credo of Human by Design is the guiding principle that makes projects successful for our clients and those who use their spaces; in that vein, Paul is dedicated to excellence in project architecture and project management to provide clients with the best experience possible throughout the design and construction process; accomplishing these goals is how he measures success.

Our Perkins Eastman

Mentoring staff and sharing his passion for architecture is something that comes naturally to Paul. He is also focused on expanding Perkins Eastman’s architectural presence in its large Central Region, which extends from Texas up through the Midwest and over to the Mid-Atlantic states. He will be expanding the Dallas studio footprint to focus more on Commercial + Office, Large Scale Mixed-Use, Hospitality, Residential, Higher Education, Science & Technology, K-12 Education, Healthcare and other markets.  Paul and the Dallas staff will be working with the Austin studio to expand the firm’s services in the Texas region as well.
