Kirk G. Anderson

AIA, LEED AP

Associate Principal

“Being an architect allows me to improve the quality of life for people by doing something I truly enjoy and understand.”

Kirk grew up with an interest and affinity for woodworking and drawing, and he’s always had a keen eye for how things go together well in composition and scale. He has a passion for contributing to the creation of spaces that fulfill human needs for function, social interaction, proportional integrity, aesthetic perception, and contextual appropriateness.  His early, 14-year general-practice experience has been invaluable in understanding broad ranges of client needs, project types/scales, residential living, and architectural vernaculars that he’s leveraged for the 22 years he’s been with Perkins Eastman serving the senior living practice area in managing successful projects across the country and abroad.

Our Perkins Eastman

Kirk is unique in having proficiency in multiple skillsets ranging from people skills, design, project management, client relationships, and technical understanding, all of which allow him to be a valuable resource for many needs within the firm.  He serves as a mentor in advancing project-management capabilities through his membership on the firmwide Project Management Committee, plus the Sub-Committee to initiate and oversee the firmwide Project Management Training program.
