Dan Colli

AIA, LEED AP

Principal

“Now more than ever, our buildings need to be designed holistically, creating environments that benefit the students, users, community, and ultimately the world.”

Dan finds the practice of architecture to be exciting because each project presents a new challenge and opportunity to learn. Many aspects of the profession have changed since he entered it 22 years ago, most notably the advances in building technology and materials awareness that have been central to his work in K-12, higher education and the senior-living practice areas. One of his favorite examples of new technology bringing a project to life is an interactive tour his team created for children in kindergarten through second grade to teach them about their new, yet unbuilt, elementary school.

Dan is leading the Boston studio’s active push to focus on material health and universal design on every project. He brings a unique perspective to project management overall in that he’s less driven by numbers and more focused on outcomes and relationships.
