Perkins Eastman is pleased to announce the recognition of three senior living projects in the National Association of Home Builders Best of 55+ Housing Awards. The NAHB 55+ Housing Industry Council Best of 55+ Housing Awards are the 55+ sector’s only national awards program that honor the people, companies, projects, and programs that have contributed to industry-leading design and community lifestyle features that appeal to all life stages.
Inspirata Pointe at Royal Oaks (photo above) in Sun City, AZ, won Gold for best 55+ Service Enriched Community “On the Boards”. Perkins Eastman, the design architect and architect of record, is collaborating on this project with local Phoenix-based firm, Architectural Resource Team.
The Club at Briarcliff Manor in Briarcliff Manor, NY, was recognized with a Gold for Best 55+ Life Plan Community. Interior Design Associates was recognized for their interiors, while Perkins Eastman is noted as the design architect and architect of record for the entire project.
John Knox Village in Pompano Beach, FL, won a Silver Award for Best 55+ Service Enriched Community “On the Boards”. Perkins Eastman is collaborating on this project with local Florida-based firm BSSW Architects and landscape architects EDSA.
The NAHB 55+ Housing Awards is a showcase for quality housing, innovation, and emerging trends that appeal to the mature demographic. This annual competition is judged by knowledgeable peers and industry experts, each having a proven record of success in various facets of the 55+ Housing sector.
