This new mixed-use complex in Harbor Point, Lagos, Nigeria, includes a 20-story office building with a club-restaurant at its top and a 20-story hotel/residential tower which includes a conference center, spa, art gallery, and retail in its podium base—all organized around a central retail and pedestrian plaza with fountains and open cafés at its center. Its main entrances are through landscaped forecourts. The complex connects via pedestrian bridge to the adjacent proposed marina which includes an Ocean Study Institute, aquarium, shops, and seaside restaurant. The project was designed to achieve LEED Bronze certification by utilizing smart skin design, deep shading devices, low-iron glass, rain water harvesting and filtration, and extended green spaces.
