Siu has always been fascinated by the intricate details of the world around him, how seemingly disparate elements come together to form a cohesive whole. Growing up, constructing scale models and playing simulation games increased his interest in how systems come together to form a functioning object. His curiosity blossomed into a deep appreciation for design, engineering, and architecture – the art of translating these details and ideas into functional and inspiring buildings and spaces. Practicing since 2006, his project-type experience includes Healthcare, Government, Transportation, and Science + Technology projects of various scales. Working on projects from planning through construction and maintaining involvement throughout the life of the project help ensure the nuances of the design process are carried out into the built product.
