In his formative years, Marc was captivated by the notion of architecture as Frozen Music. Creating beauty in the built environment, for him, has evolved from a clear aesthetic pursuit into designing sustainable, human-focused environments that enrich daily life for their users. Aesthetic aspirations, however, remain a founding principle. “The vibrant spaces I’ve had a hand in creating give me the greatest professional joy,” he says. In the DC Metro/Northern Virginia region, memorable examples include master planning and design for retail, residential, hotel, and office centers that include public parks and recreation areas such as Pentagon Row; Ballston Quarter; Liberty Center South and The Heming at Scott’s Run.
