"By defining what distinguishes us and articulating that message to our clients, we’re able to tell a rich, compelling story about the value and depth of knowledge we bring to the design process and how that connects to residents’ joy as they live and thrive within their senior living communities."

Lori developed a strong interest in architecture through her love of writing, and enjoys collaborating with creative people who are dedicated to changing people’s lives through the built environment. As a marketing and business-development professional, Lori approaches her work with open, honest curiosity and a belief in the value the firm brings to senior living providers. It’s this belief that allows her to remain enthusiastic and committed to the work of creating greater brand value, meaning, and relevancy for the senior living practice. Lori also enjoys her role coaching future leaders in making connections and telling their design stories to reinforce the firm’s position as a strategic partner and trusted advisor at the forefront of a constantly changing marketplace.

Future leaders must be great coaches. Through an internal program called Markitects, Lori and her team focus on developing a next generation of leaders who are motivated, engaged, and inspired. They work across offices, cultures and generations, assemble effective teams, and collaborate on their ideas. Markitects opens the door for participants to pinpoint their passion and share it with others.
