Managing Principal

“Making the connections that help us build strong, resilient and equitable communities is at the core of what makes us successful, and is extremely personally rewarding for me.”

Growing up in Chicago, surrounded by the iconic architecture that lines Lake Michigan, Lauren was struck at an early age by the power an urban environment has to influence a city’s culture and the psychology of its inhabitants. As head of business development for VIA—A Perkins Eastman Studio, Lauren leads collaborative teams in defining approaches, tasks and policies that result in successful pursuits, projects and relationships. Lauren also frequently supports VIA’s technical teams for major project delivery by clarifying visions, tasks and responsibilities and overseeing team communications to ensure transparency, accuracy and nimbleness.

In her co-managing-principal role in the Vancouver, BC studio, Lauren also oversees resourcing and project performance and helps the studio leverage its design talent for maximum agility on complex pursuits and projects.

Our Perkins Eastman

With years of experience in VIA’s Seattle and now Vancouver studios, Lauren helps our clients find design solutions and attract resources to support successful projects across Canada and down North America’s West coast.
