I have been a life-long believer in the power of architecture and good design to shape the human experience, creating places of beauty that bring together functional needs and design excellence. I truly enjoy seeing how the crafting of architecture can stimulate people’s lives and promote positive human interactions. I grew up in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and had the benefit of a multi-cultural childhood, which has informed my interest in a range of architectural practice areas. My career has focused primarily in the New England area, on a variety of architectural and interior design projects, including workplace, institutional, transportation, hospitality, historic preservation and residential design. My greatest satisfaction comes from working out design and programming challenges of all scales that exceed the project needs and expectations.
