Dan Nelson

"My passion has always been to grow community in every sense of the word; it encompasses the design team, the client, and the broader project stakeholders, with the end goal being a building or facility project that delights the users and supports the surrounding community."

Dan’s passion is creating architecture that focuses on the human experience, where the design process and finished product reflect deep collaboration with the client and all its stakeholders. With twenty-five years of experience in the greater Seattle region, Dan creates functional, cost-effective, and visually compelling architectural solutions for many types of projects including mixed-use, multi-family, and transportation facilities at VIA—A Perkins Eastman Studio. He’s widely respected as a practical and collaborative architect who can focus on the details as well as the bigger picture regarding projects and market sectors.
